Where did he hatch ? Roseberry Bird has certainly been an elusive fellow. Before 1820, records of him don't seem to exist. It is very possible that he emigrated from England. The records that do exist are unclear on that point. Most say he was born in the U.S., but some do say that he was born in England. Who was his father ? Who was his mother ?
